Ah… Greece. Just the name conjures sun-drenched coastlines, ancient wonders, and the lingering taste of ouzo on a warm evening. But if a flight to the Aegean isn’t in the cards, the next best thing might be right around the corner.
A Greek festival may not be Santorini, but with its exuberant music, spirited dancing, and endless tables piled high with incredible food, it has a magic all its own. In my town, the Greek Fest is the very essence of philoxenia—the Greek tradition of warm hospitality. Gyros just the way you like them, frothy frappé coffees, honey-drizzled baklava sundaes… the flavors and festivities never seem to end.
This collection is a tribute to that feast for the senses, inspired by the flavors and traditions that make the festival unforgettable. Even better? Proceeds from these pieces, like the festival itself, support the many charitable community programs of the Greek Orthodox Church that brings it to life each year.
I’ll raise my frappé to that!
